The fact that one is ignorant of the law does not a sufficient defence in a court of law make. Ignorance is no protection against punishment. The adult is presumed to know all the laws. This presumption is knowingly and clearly false. So why is it made in the first place?
There are many types of laws. If a person is not aware of the existence of gravitation, he will still obey it and fall to the ground from a tall building. This is a law of nature and, indeed, ignorance serves as no protection and cannot shield one from its effects and applicability. But human laws cannot be assumed to have he same power. They are culture-dependent, history-dependent, related to needs and priorities of the community of humans to which they apply. A law that is dependent and derivative is also contingent. No one can be reasonably expected to have intimate (or even passing) acquaintance with all things contingent. A special learning process, directed at the contingency must be effectuated to secure such knowledge.
Perhaps human laws reflect some in-built natural truth, discernible by all conscious, intelligent observers? Some of them give out such an impression. "Thou shalt not murder", for instance. But this makes none of them less contingent. That all human cultures throughout history obtained the same thinking regarding murder - does not bestow upon the human prohibition a privileged nomic status. In other words, no law is endowed with the status of a law of nature just by virtue of the broad agreement between humans who support it. There is no power in numbers, in this respect. A law of nature is not a statistically determined "event". At least, ideally, it should not be.
Another argument is that a person should be guided by a sense of right and wrong. This inner guide, also known as the conscience or the super-ego, is the result of social and psychological processes collectively known as "socialization". But socialization itself is contingent, in the sense that we have described. It cannot serve as a rigorous, objective benchmark. Itself a product of cultural accumulation and conditioning, it should be no more self evident than the very laws with which it tries to imbue the persons to whom it is applied.
Still, laws are made public. They are accessible to anyone who cares to get acquainted with them. Or so, theoretically. Actually, it is inaccessible to the illiterate, to those who have not assimilated the legal jargon, or to the poor. Even if laws were uniformly accessible to all - their interpretation would not have been. In many legal systems, precedents and court decisions are an integral part of the law. Really, there is no such thing as a perfect law. Laws evolve, grow, are replaced by others, which better reflect mores and beliefs, values and fears, in general the public psychology as mediated by the legislators. This is why a class of professionals has arisen, who make it their main business to keep up with the legal evolution and revolutions. Not many can afford the services of these law-yers. In this respect, many do not have ample access to the latest (and relevant) versions of the law. Nor would it be true to say that there is no convincing way to pierce one's mind in order to ascertain whether he did know the law in advance or not. We all use stereotypes and estimates in our daily contacts with others.
There is no reason to refrain from doing so only in this particular case. If an illiterate, poor person broke a law - it could safely be assumed that he did not know, a-priori, that he was doing so. Assuming otherwise would lead to falsity, something the law is supposed to try and avoid. It is, therefore, not an operational problem.

By the time you notice them, it's already too late. Both indoor car cover fabrics and outdoor car cover fabrics are designed to keep dust away from the surface of your vehicle.
Theft Deterrent Reference
Though it may only look like a thin layer of fabric, a Covercraft car cover can do an amazing job at keeping thieves away from your vehicle. And, if you add a lock and cable to your car cover, you will not only keep your cover secure, but your vehicle becomes even harder to steal.
Damaging Weather Guide
You don't have to be a meteorologist to know that harsh weather can do a number on your vehicle's finish. An occasional spring shower poses no real threat to your vehicle. However, seemingly harmless rain can find its way into tiny scratches or blemishes and start the corrosion process. And, acid rain - well, the name says it all. A water-resistant car cover will keep your vehicle high and dry.
Harsh UV (ultraviolet) rays and the intense radiant heat of the Sun can cook the color right out of your paint. A car cover is like sunscreen for your vehicle, blocking harmful UV light and preventing photo degradation. And, a lighter colored car cover will yield a reflective cooling effect.
It's not the cold that gets to your vehicle's finish - it's the moisture and salt. These two corrosive cohorts are in cahoots to ravage your paint. Fortunately, a car cover can keep both these culprits away from your vehicle.
The fundamental advantages of custom-fit car covers
A custom-fit car cover is specially tailored to the lines of your vehicle. No detail is left unturned. Custom-fit car covers hug every contour of your vehicle and feature sewn-in mirror pockets, plus grommet holes for antennas.
On the other hand, low-quality universal-fit car covers are baggy and can slip, slide and rub against your paint, destroying your finish. Additionally, the poor fit allows the harsh elements to creep in at every gap and defeat the purpose of the cover.
The specialized cut of a custom-fit car cover is far and away the best choice to wrap up and protect your vehicle.
When deciding which car cover is right for your vehicle, we advise that you consider:
• Where you park and how often you use your vehicle
• The weather in your area
• What color is right for your vehicle and storage needs
Where You Park and How Often You Use Your vehicle:
• When you park outside and cover up every day, you may want to choose a lightweight outdoor car cover that's simple to use and easy to fold.
• For those who park in crowded lots or on streets with children at play and heavy pedestrian traffic, a thicker heavyweight outdoor car cover that provides some dent and ding protection is best.
• If you garage your vehicle and frequently cover and uncover it, a lightweight indoor car cover is ideal.
• Choose a heavier indoor car cover to keep your classic safe for long-term storage.
• A super-soft indoor car cover lets you pamper your "baby" and keep it safe and secure.
The Weather in Your Area
The ideal car cover for your vehicle is greatly influenced by your local weather. Many materials have been developed to deal with specific inclement weather conditions. Rainy parts of the country like the Pacific Northwest and Deep South would demand an outdoor car cover with exceptional water resistance. The coastal areas along the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf of Mexico need a car cover that will protect from and last in salty air. In the sunniest zones of the country like the desert Southwest, a Coverking car cover with extra UV and photo degradation protection and reflective properties makes the most sense.
Tips on What Color is Right for Your vehicle and Storage Needs
Car covers are offered in an array of colors, but picking the right hue isn't solely a matter of personal taste. Here are a few tips and points of reference to help you with your choice:
• If you live in a sunnier climate, you'll want a lighter colored fabric for outdoor storage.
• If you have a lighter colored vehicle, a lighter colored fabric is safer for your paint. Bright colors, although thoroughly, tested could bleed under certain conditions.
• If you're looking for style, a vibrant color can lend your vehicle character or compliment its finish.
• Prevent unsightly dents, dings and scratches
• Shield it against finish-destroying man-made and natural hazards

Simple Steps For Capturing Memories And Sharing Photos
From weddings to "girls' weekends," book clubs and block parties, the good news is that more and more people are making time to gather with family and friends to share special occasions and everyday events. Being there, however, is only half the fun. The desire to share these memories has given rise to all sorts of new hobbies from scrapbooking to photo swapping. Before your next gathering, consider these simple tips to help you transform that event from a memorable afternoon or evening to a lifetime memory:
1. Don't be shutter-shy. Move close and frame your subject(s) tightly. Snap several photos at a time from various angles and delete missteps as you go to keep memory space free for more shots. Take a few minutes to crop pictures, remove red eye and even try turning a few color shots to black and white. You can most likely accomplish these steps using the software that came with your home computer or via an online photo service.
2. Never do tomorrow, what you can do today. Upload photos from your camera often. Memory card readers make it easy and fast to get pictures out of your camera and onto your computer. Head to an electronics store and choose one that reads multiple card types. That way everyone in your household can use it and you won't "outgrow" it, even if you upgrade to a new camera with a different memory medium. Top manufacturers include Lexar and SanDisk.
3. Share and share alike. Sharing digital photos has become as common as mailing prints to Grandma once was. You can attach individual photos to an e-mail and send them out one at a time. Another, easier way to keep in touch with family and friends that won't clog their in-box is to try a top online photo service. One, called Shutterfly, lets you store and share as many images as you want. Then, even those who could not make the party can join in the fun by adding comments, ordering prints and the like. Recipients get an e-mail from you that contains one of your pictures and a clickable link, which immediately connects to a slideshow of your pictures. What may be the best part is-there's no sign-in requirement and membership is free.

How To Improve Your Credit Rating
Your credit rating is something you shouldn't take for granted. If left to spin out of control, it can cause serious repercussions that will follow you throughout your life. If your credit isn't the best, or could use an improvement, here are a few ways how you can improve your credit rating.
Make Payments on Time
If you pay your bills late, you're not only incurring late fees, but you're also damaging your credit. And if you miss a payment, it's even worse. Your payment history, even for minor items such as utilities and cable television, is reported to a number of different credit bureaus, so any missed or history of late payments is recorded and weighed against your credit. If you want to build and maintain your credit rating, pay your bills on time and don't miss any payments. If you have missed payments in the past, get back on track. Your recent payment history counts more than ancient history, so be sure to get back on track… and then stay there.
Pay Off Your Debt
If you have debt, pay it off. Don't transfer it all to a credit card and then transfer it from card to card to card. If you just move around your debt, you're not doing anything to pay it down. And even though all your debt might be on your credit card, your credit is still in danger. So, start budgeting to pay off your debt. Pay off that credit card and your other debt payments until nothing remains. If you ignore it, it's going to haunt you for years to come.
Establish Credit History
Your credit rating is established partially on your credit history. Your credit history is based on the information that your creditors have reported to credit bureaus, including credit cards, loans, and even some utility bills. If you have little to no history, there's nothing to go off of to establish your rating, so your credit will be established at a lower rate. There are no prior indicators whether or not you're a delinquent or on-time payer. So, if you want to build your credit, get a credit card, charge a few things, and pay off the majority of the balance. Financial experts recommend keeping your account balances less than 50% of your available credit. It shows that you have the ability to pay back your debt.
Don't Apply for or Take on Too Many Credit Cards
Having and using a credit card wisely can be beneficial to your credit rating. However, if you're constantly applying for new credit cards, it can hurt your rating, especially if you're getting turned down for them. Applying for too many credit cards, in a way, shows that you don't have enough capital to afford your cost of living on your own income. And if you're getting turned down by creditors, it's an indication that your credit standing just isn't up to par, and other creditors will weigh these rejections against you.
Your credit can make or break you. Your credit rating dictates the interest rate you get on loans and whether or not you qualify for additional credit. If left to grow uncontrollably, your credit can be the death of your ability to purchase a home, a car, or even get basic cable television. If you want to improve your credit score, don't let it spin out of control. Pay off all debts, continue your credit history, and pay everything on time.

Building or Remodeling a Home? Think Lock Security
During the exciting time of having your house built or remodeled, make sure to consider one of the most important features that will keep you and your family safe for years to come: security.
According to the National Crime Prevention Council, about six out of 10 completed burglaries take place without any sign of forced entry, suggesting that either a door or window was left unlocked or that a duplicate key was used to open one.
Residential burglary is one of the most frequently reported crimes. It also is the most preventable. Locking your windows and doors and having proper lock security is the easiest and most cost-efficient way to prevent burglary.
The first step in securing your remodeled or newly built home is to deadbolt exterior doors. Deadbolts are available in several formats. Some are key operated from both inside and out, key operated from the outside and open with a thumbturn on the inside, or solely operated with a thumbturn on the inside. Check with your local crime prevention authority to determine what kind of lock is recommended in your area.
Remember that not all locks are created equally. For maximum protection, choose high-security locks. For example, locks made by Medeco incorporate features that protect against drilling and picking. Keys for these locks can only be made by authorized Medeco dealers after you show proper identification. This ensures that only you can authorize the duplication of your keys.
Sliding glass doors tend to be an easy point of entry. Special locks and bars are available to prevent lifting and prying of the door. You also can put a wooden dowel or broom handle in the door track.
When thinking lock security, don't forget about your windows. Traditional double-hung windows, which have a top and bottom sash that slides up and down, continue to be the most popular window type installed in remodeled or newly built homes. To secure these windows, install a window sash lock, a lock that's attached to the sashes of a double-hung window to keep in a shut position.

Making More Money From Your Site
Ask anyone involved in an online business about the reason behind the success of their business and the unanimous reply would be great web marketing. Here are some tips which shall help you get more out of your online business.
The first and foremost thing before you start online marketing UK is to make sure that your site is as user friendly as possible. unless the site is not user friendly, it is not going to be successful. People might visit it for some time but soon they may get confused and so put off that they may never come back In the extreme case, they may even start some negative publicity against your website. Similarly you must optimise your site for fast speed. The Internet connection speeds vary from user to user. You must make sure that the end user with a slow dial up connection is able to surf your site without having to wait too much.
The second thing is to decide the focus of your website and stick. Web marketing UK experts inform us that unless a site is clearly focused on someone or something, it is nothing more than a waste of storage space and bandwidth. A properly focused site is much easier to optimise as the site already has a number of keywords as well as the content about that topic. There is not much work to be done. On the other hand a poorly focused site shall become the search engine optimiser's nightmare. He just does not understand what he is supposed to optimise the site for. The net result is that he ends up doing something of everything but it does not do any thing because nothing is done properly enough to be effective.

Similarly another thing that experts from website marketing company UK tell us is that have a properly organized site structure. Unless and until the site is properly organized it is just not possible for any online marketing UK based experts can not prepare it for people to use. The search engine spiders use various techniques based on artificial intelligence to rate the sites. There are a number of algorithms that these spiders use and most of these algorithms depend on the way a website is organized. Moreover a properly organised website means that user shall easily find what he is looking for and if he totally satisfied with the website, he shall also recommend it his friends and family. There can be nothing great than this word of mouth publicity for any website.

Jaguar S-Type: A Blend of Performance and Prestige
Jaguar Cars is actually a British based subsidiary of the American Ford Motor Company that is quite famous for its production and manufacturing of luxury saloon and sports cars. Its competition is quite diverse and includes the BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Cadillac, Lexus, Infiniti, and the Lincoln which is another subsidiary of the Ford.
The Jaguar has certainly come through a lot and has acquired quite a name for itself with many important and popular people using it themselves. The British Prime Minister Tony Blaire is driven around in a bottle-green Jaguar XJ8. In the British television series Minder, the character Arthur Daley is seen to be driving a Jaguar XJ6. Inspector Morse in the British television series of the same name used a Jaguar Mark 2 to drive about his travails. Harold, of Harold and Maude, had a Jaguar E-Type hearse. The film 52 Pick-Up had featured a silver Jaguar E-type, and Austin Powers also drove the same type of vehicle, and calling it a "Shaguar". The 1968 movie Danger: Diabolik, Diabolik drove a black Jaguar E-type and his love interest, Eva, had used a white one. The Heist which is a made-for cable 1989 film had featured two dark green Jauar XJS couples. The Heist which is a made-for cable 1989 film had featured two dark green Jauar XJS couples. Important News You Need To Read Before You Consolidate Student Loans!
You are paying way too much for your Federal student loans, and your sick and tired of never having extra cash on hand for the things you'd like to be doing, and feeling a bit disillusioned about what life after graduation would be like. Your not alone! Millions of College Graduates are having the same feelings, facing the same fears, and wondering what in the world happened. It wasn't supposed to be like this! You may have had wide eyed visions of dinner parties and dining out. Driving a nice car and climbing your way up the corporate ladder. But it takes time to climb the ladder of success and in the meantime, once you graduate, your student loan grace periods begin to expire and before you know it, your deep in debt and in the red each month with no bling left over for any of those things you looked forward to being able to do. So you work and you scrimp and you save, but now the payments are behind and the service charges and late fees are adding up and you're not earning enough yet to make up for it. So what happens now you ask?? STOP... that's what.. and listen closely if you want this seemingly endless circle to stop so you can catch your breath.
Have you ever considered the possibility of consolidating your student loans? When you consolidate, you take all your student loan payments and combine them into one new consolidated student loan, one with a much lower payment total than what you had been paying. The most common reason graduates choose to go this route is to lock in a new loan with a much lower interest rate, which in turn creates more cash flow for you each month and more cash on hand for other expenses you'd much rather be spending your hard earned money on. Choosing to consolidate your student loans can save you as much as 63% from what you were paying for your student loans prior to consolidating. If this sounds like something you may consider doing, I hate to pressure you, but you need to be aware that if you are in fact thinking of consolidating your student loans, you need to act fast and do your research to find a reputable lender and apply as soon as possible because come July 1st 2006, just a short time from now, the Government is going to do it's yearly student loan interest rate adjustment and students all across the US are going to feel a crunch like no one has ever felt before. And it happens this year! Up until now, this has shown little effect on those desiring to consolidate their loans.

The US Senate has already announced that this is to be the single largest student loan interest rate hike we have ever seen. Federal Direct and Stafford loans alone will see a rate increase from 4.7% to 6.8% which equals ALOT of extra money flying out the window each month in interest alone! Their reason? The Senates $40 billion dollar deficit reduction plan, and the student loan industry will be hit the hardest. You must take action and get busy right now! Make sure you know what kind of student loans you presently have (Direct loan, Stafford loan, private loans etc) and what the grace periods are for each student loan that you have and what your eligible for. Then go on a massive hunt for the most reputable and established Lender you can find and fill out an application so you can lock in today's low rates before the hammer falls on July 1st.

Top Mistakes with Equipment Leasing
When negotiating on equipment leasing contracts, small business and corporate accounts should review all the legal terms in order to avoid the top mistakes associated with leasing equipment. These rules are applicable in multiple areas of equipment leasing from educational, computer and engineering equipment leases.
Mistakes to Be Avoided in Contracts
One of the primary mistakes made when negotiating their lease is the use of a very short contract. The short contract text may not address issues involving problems with software in computer leases or litigation issues such as employee piracy. Other issues that are not addressed in many short contracts include:
• Software transaction agreements
• Troubleshooting Support Issues
• Clauses handling provider's going out of business
It's important to make sure that all parties have their expectations clearly outlined in the contract. The contract helps avoid mistakes in leasing equipment by detailing the obligations of both parties. Contracts that possess clarity and completeness are important and the shorter the contract, the more likely there will be legal risks and ramifications for the company leasing the equipment.
Performance Details
The contract should detail the performance of the equipment. If someone is leasing a computer system, a server or a backhoe, they need to know that it will handle the load they are preparing to deliver to it. The performance details are an area where equipment can fail in leasing if they are not clearly stated. It's important to make sure that both parties have those issues clarified before closing on any contracts or deals regarding performance issues.
Structure Defects
Structuring agreements is key to understanding where responsibility lies. An equipment leasing agreement needs to stipulate the structure of the deal. In other words, the salesman is unlikely be the primary contact for system defects. The primary contact may be the manager in charge of that account, but they will likely only handle negotiation issues. Customer support issues may be directed elsewhere. That structure and allocation of responsibility must be clearly spelled out in the contract.
Equipment Hardware Leasing Specialties
When leasing computer equipment, there are often software leases that are required. It's important to coordinate the duration of the software leases to be comparable with the duration of the equipment lease. It's important to ensure the compatibility of all leased equipment with other equipment from different vendors. It's also important to make sure that a project's start and completion dates are commiserate with the equipment lease. Balancing the needs of the developers with the equipment support is a difficult thing to assess, but it's important to make sure that the leases support the needs of the company small or large.

Solicitors Not Welcome
Solicitors (lawyers) are often not consulted during the initial drafting of equipment leasing. This is a mistake, especially for small businesses that do not possess an in house legal team. Lawyers can help smooth the transaction and avoid loopholes that might cause legal problems for both parties during an equipment lease. However, when utilizing a lawyer, it's important to find one experienced in lease transactions.
The Results versus The Resources
Be sure to clearly define the need for the equipment lease. Most leasing companies see themselves as providing resources. Companies large and small are not looking for a resource as much as they are looking for a result. It's the end of the line result they are seeking most of all.
Communication
Clear communication is important from the get go. When negotiating for an equipment lease, be sure to have all questions answered prior to agreeing. Companies make a mistake in leasing equipment from a vendor if they have trouble getting them on the phone or returning calls. Those issues can lead to service problems in the future.
Be Realistic In Expectations
Client companies must be realistic about what they are expecting. Vendors will usually negotiate and do their best to fill customer requirements, however the client company must also keep in mind industry standards and limitations. While technology continues to grow, it's important to realize that not every goal has been achieved as yet.
Short Term Versus Long Term
The final and most important mistake made in equipment leasing is considering a contract as something that needs to be closed immediately in order to make a deadline that occurs in the next few weeks. Realistically speaking, avoiding looking at the long-term effects of an equipment lease may leave the client with a piece of equipment they do not need or a bad contract altogether. If their short-term goal is to launch a new product or get the foundation of a new project started, but the equipment will not help in the long-term goal, that should be addressed.
Equipment leasing provides numerous benefits to businesses large and small. It's important to recognize the benefits, but to also avoid the pitfalls of mistakes that can be made when negotiating an equipment lease.

How To Choose An Adoption Attorney
No matter where you are in the adoption process, whether you have just started your Home Study or have already connected with a Birthparent, choosing an attorney to help you through the process is one of the most important choices you will have to make. I have worked in adoptions for over nine years and I want to stress to you that choosing an attorney that specializes in adoptions or has significant adoption experience is highly important. Although as an agency we do a lot of the legal work ourselves with our own attorney, we also conduct Home Studies for couples who are doing independent adoptions, meaning they are going through an attorney rather than an agency. Most of the mix-ups and botched adoptions we see are typically associated with attorneys that do not practice adoption law or who know very little about adoption law.
When choosing an attorney to use in an independent adoption, I always recommend choosing one that is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (also known as AAAA or Quad A Attorneys). Adoption law is typically state specific except for a few federal laws, so you want an adoption attorney that is well versed in the adoption laws of your state. Things get even more complicated if Birthparents live in one state and the adoptive family lives in another. This is called an interstate adoption. Not only are you dealing with the laws in each state, but you are also dealing with the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, a Federal law that regulates children being placed for adoption in a different state than where they were born. The adoption disruptions that we see played out in the media typically happen because something was not done legally the way it was supposed to be done. For this reason it is imperative that you use an attorney that knows the adoption laws for your state.
I teach monthly adoption seminars, which include a section on adoption law. During this session I always share the example of how both the lawyer and judge in a rural county in my state did not do things correctly, which ended in an adoption disruption. In this case the adoption was finalized in Juvenile Court, which cannot happen in my state as adoptions are finalized in Chancery or Fourth Circuit Court. But, even worse, the Birthmother never signed a Surrender to surrender her parental rights. You cannot finalize an adoption if one or both of the Birthparents still have parental rights to the child. Since her parental rights were still in place, when she went to the court five years later the adoption was overturned and her daughter was returned to her
The purpose of sharing this story is not to scare prospective adoptive parents. I share it to educate them and to reinforce the importance of using an attorney who just practices adoption law or one who has done adoptions in their practice for at least five years. By doing adoptions for five years I don't mean two or three adoptions over the past five years. I mean someone who does them on a regular basis. Even if you know a lawyer who is a good friend or one who is doing the adoption just to help you, if they do not know adoption law they could end up hurting the adoption in the end.
Even if there is not a AAAA Attorney in your area, you should contact the AAAA Attorney that practices closest to you. They might travel to you or they could recommend someone in your area that knows adoption law. For instance, the AAAA Attorney that my agency uses along with most other agencies and adoptive families in the area has a list of attorneys that she contacts for adoptions in counties that are about two hours or more from her. If she is not busy, she will travel, but because she has such a good reputation she usually stays busy and she often refers families who live further away to other attorneys. She also will tell you which attorney to not use if she knows an attorney who has repeatedly done adoptions not according to the law, which is important information for adoptive families to have.
If you are beginning to search for an attorney to help with your adoption, the first thing you should do is to see if there is a AAAA Attorney in your area. You should always check their credentials and talk to families who have used them. It is also good to talk with other adoptive parents to see which attorneys they used and to find out if they had positive or negative experiences. The way an attorney handles or mishandles an adoption can literally make or break it. This is not a chance that you want to take when it comes to your family. You need to choose an attorney that will follow adoption law correctly and one that will make sure that the needs of everyone involved in the adoption process are met.

Uneducated Tax System v. Educated Tax System
The line under your income on your pay stub is where these two systems differ. With the uneducated tax system, you deduct the three lines under your income and the remainder is what you receive. With the educated tax system, the first line is your reported income as with the uneducated tax system. However, the second line is the money you spent on the business, and you pay taxes on what is left. This is because when a business spends money it is called a business expense or tax deduction. Therefore, having your own business and being in the educated tax system, you can reduce your taxes by 40-70%. To break this down even further: If you are making $35,000 a year this could save you up to $10,000. That means it does not matter if you are making millions of dollars or a few thousand dollars. These strategies apply to you! A marginally profitable business can become a thriving business by applying these strategies.
A case study: One of my students, Stephanie, was making $50,000 a year. She took these strategies to her CPA who had been working with her families for years and always had her best interest in mind. He replied that although this program sounded interesting, he was already utilizing every deduction available able to her. Stephanie's CPA agreed to participate in a conference call with me at Stephanie's request. Stephanie's CPA explained that she was paying $12,000 in taxes. While this was much less than the average person, she could have been paying even less. I introduced three strategies: helping her to reduce her FICA, deducting her healthcare, deducting education (both her and her daughter's). We were able to reduce her total taxes paid to $800. In 15 minutes and with only three strategies, we were able to save her over $11,200!
I have had students save well over $100,000. Just think what you could do with that money!
We can start by converting your largest expenses into business expenses. We can teach you lesser known deductions (e.g. travel and entertainment, medical, seminars, books, etc.) and shift them over to business expenses. You pay them with pre-tax dollars and not after-tax dollars, reducing your taxable income.

3 Tips To Quickly Reduce Debts And Improve Credit Rating
There are many rewards to reducing credit card debt. To begin with, eliminating needless debts will save you money, lessen stress, and boost your credit rating. Obviously, achieving a life free of debt is easier said than done. Nonetheless, there are practical tips that can help consumers eliminate debts and raise their credit score.
Stop Using Credit Cards
Before you can reduce and alleviate debts, you must stop using credit cards. Understandably, emergencies arise that justify using credit. For example, a large car repair, home improvement, etc. On the other hand, if the bulk of your credit card expenses revolve around shopping sprees, vacations, or entertainment, a radical lifestyle change is needed.
To avoid using credit unnecessarily, remove all credit cards from your wallet. Do not cancel credit cards. By doing so, you will decrease your credit score and rating. Instead, exercise self-control and make all purchases using cash.
Take Advantage of Options Available to Homeowners
Owning a home puts you at a huge advantage. Many homeowners have become debt free by obtaining a home equity loan or refinancing. As your home increases in value, you build equity. Equity is the difference in what you owe the mortgage company and your home's market value. By obtaining a home equity loan or refinance, homeowners have access to their home's equity. The funds may be used to consolidate debts. Paying off high interest credit will decrease monthly debt payments and save you thousands.
Using Debt Management Agencies
Before filing bankruptcy, individuals with excessive debts should contact a debt management agency. These agencies are extremely useful and have helped millions of people become debt free in as little as five years. Representatives will evaluate your current debt and credit situation, and determine the best plan of action.
To lower monthly payments, the agency will consolidate debts and contact your existing creditors to negotiate a lower rate, waived fees, etc. A low interest rate makes it possible to pay back creditors faster.
While working with a debt management agency, you will no longer forward payments to each individual creditor. Rather, the debt management agency will collect payments and allocate the funds to pay off credit card balances.

Your Retirement... Will it be Fact or Fiction?
It would seem that the computer is becoming a bigger and bigger part of our lives each and every day. There's good reason for that perception... it's true. One specific area that is becoming incredibly popular is online banking. Customers love it because it is very convenient and a great time saver. The banks love it because it automates a great many functions for them and cuts down on their overhead.
The number one concern of anyone that deals with online banking should be security. Putting your personal information over the Internet can be risky, there is no denying that. Fraud and identity theft have become huge problems in the modern age. There are any number of hackers and thieves out there in cyberspace just waiting to prey on innocent people. They lurk in the deep spaces of the Internet just waiting for some of your private information that they can steal.
Fortunately for us, the financial institutions of the world are very aware of this problem and are working aggressively to combat it. There was a time when a bank's chief security concern was whether they would be robbed or not. I think we've all seen the old movies about Bonnie & Clyde, John Dillinger and the like...to say nothing of the daring train robberies of the wild west. Now banks face a new and much deadlier challenge than ever before, and instead of wearing a mask and using a gun, the bad guys are now invisible and use keyboards. They can access information from the safety of their homes and apartments. And even at the local coffee shop through wireless connections

Identity theft has now become so prevalent that thieves are rifling through garbage to attain any information that they can use to steal from their unsuspecting victims. With this said, there are some simple, common sense approaches that will go along way to securing personal bank information.
1. Do not share your passwords with anyone and make sure if you write it done put it in a safe place where only you know where it is.
2. Keep important documents locked in a safe or safety deposit box.
3. Shred documents that you no longer need and use a cross cut shredder.
4. If you bank online, make sure your bank is using a secure, encrypted site (It's OK to ask what security features they employ). Make sure they use https in the address and you should see the lock symbol in the lower right hand corner of your browser.
5. When using an ATM make sure no one can see the codes you enter.
These are a just a few of the things that can be done to keep banking information secure and to avoid possible crimes against you. While many of these suggestions seem to be glaringly obvious, all to many times they are taken for granted or just plain ignored. It is at these times when the criminals are at their best. Individuals that grow careless and complacent are exactly what criminals look for. Don't be counted as one of the careless!

Living Wills Are An Important Part Of Life
If you are a young couple busy with young children with good lives and jobs, you are certainly not ready to think of your lives ending. But you do need to think about it.
Case in point - Terry Schiavo. She was just 26 years old when cardiac arrest put her in a persistent vegative state. The court battle over whether she'd want to live or die drove home the message that end of life issues know no age boundaries.
You need to talk about the issues. The problem is that if something should happen, emotions could take over and lead to something you may not have wanted if it isn't in writing.
Why A Living Will Is Important
That's exactly why a Living Will is something every adult should have. The definitive cases on the issue - Karen Ann Quinlan, Nancy Cruzan and Terry Schiavo all involved women in their twenties.
If you are not able to talk to yourself, the Living Will speaks for you.
Legally, it's called a natural death declaration. It allows you to define what you consider a terminal condition and what you consider to be life sustaining measures, for example, CPR, antbiotics, and food and water.
Don't Hide The Living Will
Once you create your Living Will, don't put in a drawer. Talk to family members, give copies to all your doctors , friends and lawyer and take it with you on hospital visits. The more people who have a copy, the more effective it will be and the more likely it will be honoured.
You need to have this declaration; you hope you never need it, but it's good to know it's there. If something should happen, it won't be a struggle between families.
A Living Will should also include a durable power of attorney for health care. It designates a specific person to make medical decisions for you if you can't make them yourself.

What Kinds of Debt Can Be Included in the Debt Consolidation Program?
Debt consolidation programs can help many people get back on track with their monetary assets while also helping to improve their financial futures during a time when many people may feel hopeless and lost. Many people who are interested in debt consolidation programs are not sure if their specific types of debt will be included in intriguing debt consolidation programs, helping them to eventually escape debt and the financial problems which are burdening them. Debt consolidation is not a loan or something that the individual will be newly responsible for with increased payments. Rather, debt consolidation programs are designed in order to help individuals to pay off the money that they owe to one or more organization, at a faster rate than they would be able to take care of on their own. Here are some of the most popular types of debt that are dealt with in the debt consolidation program.
For the most part, almost all of an individual's unsecured debt can be consolidated with the debt consolidation program. Companies to which individuals owe money are most often willing to accept the fact that people enroll in debt consolidation and will be making lower payments since these people can also be considering bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is often a more dangerous option for individuals in that it will take seven or more years to recover from such a financial move, which will also result in the unsecured debt company's complete loss of recapturing any due money.
Unsecured debt is money that a person needs to repay to an establishment, individual or organization that has no property or collateral that could be considered as attached to the owed money. Some of the most popular examples of these types of debt include credit card debt and debt owed to particular stores, many of which will issue to their customers a person credit card meant specifically for the individual store. However, these debts can also include personal loans, medical bills and student loans. Individuals who owe money in back taxes or current taxes can also look to the debt consolidation program with hope since these owed specific and identified monies are further examples of unsecured debt that would be included in the consolidated debt structure and repayment programs.

Hedge funds - establishing a new frontier
It is difficult to provide a general definition of a hedge fund. Initially, hedge funds would sell short the stock market, thus providing a "hedge" against any stock market declines. Today the term is applied more broadly to any type of private investment partnership. There are thousands of different hedge funds globally. Their primary objective is to make lots of money, and to make money by investing in all sorts of different investments and investments strategies. Most of these strategies are more aggressive than than the investments made by mutual funds.
A hedge fund is thus a private investment fund, which invests in a variety of different investments. The general partner chooses the different investments and also handles all of the trading activity and day-to-day operations of the fund. The investor or the limited partners invest most of the money and participate in the gains of the fund. The general manager usually charges a small management fee and a large incentive bonus if they earn a high rate of return.
While this may sound a lot like a mutual fund, there are major differences between mutual fund and hedge fund:
1. Mutual funds are operated by mutual fund or investment companies and are heavily regulated. Hedge funds, as private funds, have far fewer restrictions and regulations.
2. Mutual fund companies invest their client's money, while hedge funds invest their client's money and their own money in the underlying investments.
3. Hedge funds charge a performance bonus: usually 20 percent of all the gains above a certain hurdle rate, which is in line with equity market returns. Some hedge funds have been able to generate annual rates of return of 50 percent or more, even during difficult market environments.
4. Mutual funds have disclosure and other requirements that prohibit a fund from investing in derivative products, using leverage, short selling, taking too large a position in one investment, or investing in commodities. Hedge funds are free to invest however they wish.
5. Hedge funds are not permitted to solicit investments, which is likely why you hear very little about these funds. During the previous five years some of these funds have doubled, tripled, quadrupled in value or more. However, hedge funds do incur large risks and just as many funds have disappeared after losing big.

Keep Your Photos Safe
Are your precious photos safe?
Are you backing up your precious photos? our computers and removable storage media are full with experiences and precious moments. However electronic media is not safe. Hard disks crash and removable media fails.
Disasters can happen. Digital photo albums are vulnerable and if not backed up you lose thousands of photos and a lifetime of moments in just one hard disk crash.
What are backups? backups are just copies of our files that are put in a safe place. Example of such copies can be photos put on a DVD and placed at a friend's house. The DVD could of course be placed in your own house but that would be less safe since in case of a disaster in your house you might lose both your computer and the backups.
A few years ago backups were hard to make. You practically had to be a computer guru to figure our those backup software. Today however backup was made easy using a number of software solution and online service. Below you can find two main options for backing up your photo albums: burning them to a DVD/CD or using an online backup service.
Backing up to a DVD/CD
Backing up to a DVD/CD is done by using a DVD/CD writer drive and software that can burn files on such media. Usually using such solutions requires more technical know-how. Backing up to a DVD/CD is a cheap solution. You can buy such writer drives and software for probably under a $100 and each DVD/CD media should cost in the cents. One such software that has been around for a while and used by many is from Roxio.
When backing up your photo albums to a DVD/CD please make sure that you put the DVD/CD in a safe place a good option would be somewhere out of your home maybe a family member, a neighbor you can trust or a friend. Another thing to remember with DVD/CD backup is that when you take new photos you should remember to refresh your backups. Ususally unless your photo album is very big the easiest way to do that is just to burn again you complete collection.

Homeschooling vs. School At Home
Homeschooling has become a viable option for many parents seeking to expand and improve their child's educational experience. The public and private school systems are limited, for practical reasons, as to how far they can go to meet a particular child's educational needs. With homeschooling, on the other hand, the entire process is geared towards your child in a one-on-one manner. You can create a particular curriculum suited to your child, and teach in a way works best for him or her. It is for these reasons, not to mention the economic benefits when you consider the costs associated with private schools, that many parents choose to homeschool their children.
When you decide to homeschool your children, you're going to have to come up with a plan for how the subject matter is going to be taught, and a system to execute that plan. An important distinction you should make yourself aware of is a philosophical one of "homeschooling" vs "school at home." The latter method is overly simplistic, and doesn't take advantage of the benefits that homeschooling can truly offer. While every parent is justifiably concerned about creating a disciplined academic environment, if you simply "teach at home" both you and your child will be missing out.
As a teaching philosophy, it's important to think of the process as "homeschooling" -- this means that "home" and "school" become one: it's not simply a case of school being conducted in a home environment. So instead of creating regimented lessons at set times - instead of your children sitting stiffly at a table while you give them lessons - be always ready to use the flexibility of homeschooling to your advantage. If your child has a question about a particular subject in biology, take him outside and show him nature at work. If he's interested in a certain aspect of history, take him to the museum.
One of the greatest things about homeschooling is that it doesn't have to be a regimented system: a day of learning that ends at 4 PM, Monday to Friday. When homeschooling is properly implemented, your child is always learning. During a unit on Shakespeare for example, maybe you'll decide to take him to a performance of the play on the weekend. If he's interested in computers, allow him to use his computer for a research project.
Although in some ways you do need a certain regimen when homeschooling, realize that your child's education doesn't have to end when you are finished for the day. Incorporating other educational activities into your daily home life will both expand your child's education and make it more engaging.
Most children learn better in settings that they are comfortable in, and what setting is more comfortable then the home? So if your child wants to hear his math lesson while sitting on the couch, let him. If he wants to watch a movie in the evening, direct him to an educational one.
By blurring, as much as possible, the line between "home" and "schooling" when homeschooling your children, your children will benefit from a much more valuable educational experience than could be offered from the public or private school systems.

Learn natural tips for keeping a 'cold' away.
A co-worker of mine once had a troublesome cold a while back for weeks on end and because I had to add to my workload by splitting his share up with the rest in the office, I told him of a method to use as a cure for the common cold used by the Indians and some West Africans. (Okay, I'm not that insensitive-I told him this because I cared!)
This method is known in Sanskrit (the Indian Language) as Neti or "Nasal Irrigation).
It is the cleaning of the nasal portion of the respiratory system whose function is to allow air to come in contact with the circulating blood so exchange of the gases can happen.
If this sounds a little bit complex if you need a cure for your cold and are not trying to read all these facts, just believe this works as a cure for the common cold the way nothing else can. (well besides a fast…)
Neti (nasal irrigation) is unmatched in its ability to
-Clear the nostrils for freer breathing.
-Reduce excess mucus.
-Moisten the nasal canal; strengthen the eyes, because there is stimulation of the blood vessels of the nose and eyes via nasal irrigation.
Cure for the Common cold: Using Nasal irrigation (neti)
1. Using un-iodized TABLE SALT, add a level teaspoon of salt to 24 oz warm water.
2. Wash your neti pot (which is available in most health food stores).
3. Re- rinse internally and externally with drinking water.
4. Fill the pot (which holds about 8 oz) with the saline solution
5. Now tilt your head so your right nostril is uppermost over a sink or large basin
6. Pour the solution into the nostril and ensure to keep the mouth open to breathe.
7. After it all comes out, remain motionless for 30 seconds or so then blow the nose
Thoroughly and rinse out the mouth with drinking water.
Repeat steps 1-7 on the right nostril pouring through the left this time.
You can bend forward to ensure it all drips out or preferably perform 10-15 rounds of bellows breath (a breathing exercise that entails forcefully pulling the belly back towards the spine which pushes the stagnant air out of the lungs) to get all the solution out
I found it pleasant and soothing after practicing it only once. Besides aiding as a cure for the common cold, it also ensures that blocked nasal passages as a result of irritants and pollutants are well loosened.
Furthermore it is said to have a marked cleansing effect on the sinuses and mind and helps to clean the anterior regions of the upper palate housing the olfactory organs. It even helps to cleanse to some degree the inner workings of the ear. Children using this product should be supervised by an able adult.
Cure for the Common Cold: Dietetic Suggestions
Moreover, to target the root cause of the common cold, now will be a good time to try one kind of a fast which could be
1. The use of Fresh Fruit juices.
2. The Broth of succulent and tasty steamed vegetables such as celery, cabbage etc
3. A mono-diet of a seasonal juicy fruit.
If like most people, you just cannot fast, well see to it that you abstain from all types of Animal Products, Breads, Grains and beans during this time. These substances have been known to either cause or aggravate the common cold along with other diseases and conditions including but not limited to the flu, asthma and diabetes.
This fact is based on research performed the renowned French Hygienist, Albert Mosseri and based on my personal experiences with curing my asthma, I definitely advocate his opinions. A good replacement for the less beneficial items listed above will be fresh fruits, roots and leafy vegetables for fuel.
So don't be fooled into spending your money on drugs and nasal sprays as a cure for the common cold, it, like any other disease, can be alleviated by common-sense drugless healing alternatives, if only you know how.
With the steps above, you, like my co-worker, now know exactly how to cure you cold naturally for long-term success

A Celebration of Life Begins With Lunch
On an ordinary afternoon in St. Augustine, Fla., a group of extraordinary people met at a local restaurant for a single purpose - to celebrate their accomplishments, share inspiration and encourage each other while enjoying a meal.
They came for their weekly Friday lunch from all walks of life: parents and realtors, mortgage brokers and doctor's assistants, life coaches and flower shop employees. Many represented their own entrepreneurial ventures such as jewelry making, business coaching, spas and health clubs. Regardless of where they came from, they were there for each other, to spend an hour in support and fellowship.
These weekly luncheons are held in five other cities, sponsored by the organization Women Celebrations and attended by both men and women. Each luncheon has a theme that suggests the independence and success to which all people aspire, according to founder Sheryl Lynn. Themes have been as varied as "magnificence," "confidence" and "work." At an "applause" themed gathering, each attendee explained to the group why he or she deserved applause.
Members talked about moving from out of state and changing careers, business successes and personal joys. Each of the speakers received heartfelt applause as they took a moment to "stand in their power," Lynn's expression for people's ability to find success and empowerment within themselves.
It was the need to celebrate everyday things that inspired Lynn to create Women Celebrations. Despite success as a mother of three and an entrepreneur, at the end of the day she felt exhausted and disheartened.
"I was not patting myself on the back upon the completion of these marvelous things. And certainly no one else was either," Lynn said.
In starting Women Celebrations, she created an environment in which support and encouragement played a vital role.
Today, Women Celebrations has a strong presence in northern Florida and more chapters, or "loops," are appearing across the country. The organization is open to everyone wishing to celebrate their lives, share their experiences with others through positive interaction and build a sense of community.

Lease Option Technique
Why do people sell properties using lease options? There is a reason that some of the most successful real estate investors use the lease option technique.
No Down Payment: I know what you're thinking, "I would never offer such a thing!" You don't have to. As a real estate investor rich in tools to find motivated sellers, you could get your next home using this lease option technique with no money down. You don't have to tell the seller that an option fee may be customary!
Principle Pay Down: If an option is accompanied by a lease the possibilities are greater for increased equity build up. By applying a portion of the monthly lease payment amount to the purchase price of the property one has the opportunity to widen the gap between the market value and the loan amount. Depending on whether the monthly rent amount is inline with market rates...this is free money! A 30-year amortized, $100,000 loan at 7% begins at approximately $82 per month of principle payments. A $100 per month rent credit beats that, dollar for dollar, every month for almost 3 years!
No New Loan: Possibly the most noteworthy advantage of using a lease option in the residential market is that when the optionee begins the purchase process no "new loan" is required. The prerequisite for this may be working with the right and informed mortgage broker but is usually easily accomplished through a refinance. This can mean no additional out-of-pocket money for closing.
Appreciation: One of the typical advantages of controlling a property using an option is that the buyer retains the right to capture some, if not all, appreciation during the term. The longer the term, the greater the appreciation can be. In the single-family arena, where terms are usually 12-24 months, even moderate amounts of property appreciation can add up. For the buyer, especially, every percentage point of appreciation counts. And, if you're nice enough to offer (or get) a 24-month term in a market increasing at 3% annually, $6,000 on a $100,000 property is significant.
It is better to use your own strategy against you, if you are in the market for new home.
